Hannah Swift and Dominic Abrams release EURAGE’s first online research report on experiences of sexism. The report ‘Experiences of Sexism: Findings from the European Social Survey’ presents findings on men’s and women’s experiences of sexism across 28 countries that took part in the 2008/9 European Social Survey (ESS). The report shows that more women reported experiencing sexism than men did, but the extent to which more women experience sexism varies across ESS countries. It also shows how people’s experiences of sexism can differ by age within each country.
